Wilmot hold a position of Managing Director within Phodzo Medical. He was an Operation Manager for SAA Cargo division including Health and Safety division that was under his control. He was awarded a five star award through NOSA Audit for implementing a safe working environment for the employees. In 2000 he undertook a five year training program with the Swiss Air Company where his objectives was to benchmark policies/processes and procedures against the two entities.
He later relocated in Cape Town to run the SAA Cargo division in the Western Cape until 2008. He later join Ekhwezi Medical Scheme as an Operation Director which was a fairly new entity then. In 2010 he join MEDIHOSP GROUP as a National Sales Manager. He was responsible for the sales team countrywide. He received an award for the Best national Sales Manager for the Southern Region from LINET GROUP. He then later join PHODZO MEDICAL (PTY) Ltd, a BEE entity within Medihosp Group. His responsibilities amongst other is to improve Customer Relations Management with numerous international suppliers / manufacturers, and downstream with all private hospital groups, government hospitals and private customers.
